El Puntal — Sorbas El Puntal is a small friendly agricultural community growing almond, olive and orange trees and tending to its goats. The cooperative in the hamlet can supply you with petrol, hay for your horses or even a pair of sturdy boots. 5 minutes away is Uleila del Campo with its bars, restaurant, municipal pool, pharmacy, doctor, and weekly market. It is an ideal base for exploring the footpaths through the countryside and the beautiful white washed villages of the Filabres mountains but never too far away are Mojácar, the coast, the airport and the shopping centres of Almería, only a 40 minute’s drive. |
