"All roads lead to Lubrín’ or so it would seem, so many signs point to it from the motorway, the national road to Almería and Almanzora valley, but despite this it is a small village in a pretty setting, with a large 19th century church (Nuestra Señora del Rosario) standing in its midst. Don’t miss the La Fiesta del Rosco on the 20th January when bread is eagerly thrown at the statue of the virgen. In the area known as Madroño you can find houses with beautiful unspoilt views of natural undulating countryside, and paths that go off in every direction just waiting to be explored.
